Aluminum Sifter
This #60 mesh stainless steel sifter is perfect for incense making. It produces a fine powder with a flour-like consistency. It is 5.5 inches in diameter with 1.75 inch tall walls. This sifter is much finer than the ones you will typically find in kitchen stores. I use these in my workshop every day, so I know they work well.

One key to making excellent incense sticks or cones is to use dry, finely-powdered ingredients. The key to making fine powders is a good sifter. Whether you use a mortar and pestle, coffee grinder, blender, or other method to powder ingredients, without a fine sifter you won’t get the result you want. This is the first sifter I’ve ever offered for sale because it is the first one I’ve found with a fine enough mesh, that is well made, and can hold up to use in my workshop.
