Although I’ve published several incense making books through Llewellyn Worldwide, those books talked about much more than just incense making. For many years I’ve planned to write a simple booklet that taught all of the critical aspects of making natural incense at home. You can think of this booklet as “Incense Making 101” if you will. If you are an experienced incense maker, this booklet might not offer you anything new. If you are a newer incense maker, or an incense maker who is completely self-taught, I think you will find a lot in this booklet that will help you expand your abilities. This booklet uses approaches that I have included in my incense making workshops for decades. Teaching in a live environment provides a lot of feedback. This booklet contains the information most needed by newer incense makers in those workshops.
